Our commitment to the environment and sustainability ...
... through the careful use of our resources goes without saying for us, because in doing so we not only assume social responsibility and make our contribution to maintaining an intact environment, but also invest in the future viability of our company for our customers and employees.
Our production:
We are based in the rural heart of Upper Swabia in the midst of nature in the south of Germany.
This is where our ideas and products are born, shaped by the lifestyle of our homeland: innovative, cosmopolitan and sustainable. Our office building and our production halls are built in a timber construction facing south. This means more daylight and solar heat, less electricity consumption and lower heating costs in winter.
Thanks to our highly efficient gas heating with condensing boiler technology (efficiency 96%) and very effective insulation technology, our annual gas consumption is comparable to that of a two-family house. Our lighting concept also fulfils our aspiration for the highest possible energy efficiency through the consistent use of modern LED lamps.
The assembly of our linear actuators in our factory is largely done manually with minimal energy consumption. Almost all components are procured regionally. The short transport routes save us several tonnes of CO2.
Our products:
We also pay a great deal of attention to efficiency and environmental protection when it comes to our products.
All max® products are characterised by a particularly long service life. Optimal motor design in combination with low no-load torques leads to low wear and energy consumption.
In case of a defect, our linear actuators can be easily disassembled thanks to the patented guide screw connection and put back into operation thanks to quickly available spare parts. Defective individual parts can easily be replaced and almost completely recycled.
All oils and greases used in our products are biodegradable and suitable for foodstuffs.
Our recycling:
In order to deliver our mechanical linear actuators to the customer without any damage, the use of packaging for protection is unavoidable.
That's why we take special care when it comes to packaging to ensure that we use resources sparingly and avoid unnecessary waste. We mainly use certified wood according to IPPC, ISPM 15 as well as material-saving cardboard-moulded packaging.
All packaging for our products can be sorted into different types after use and is therefore recyclable.
The waste we produce is 100% sorted and separated. Steel, aluminium and paper or cardboard are returned to the material cycle and biological waste is composted. The remaining domestic waste produced in the entire max® plants amounts to less than that of a 1-person household per week.
